Choose examples from the real workflow while removing information that should not enter the tool. Decide what a correct result looks like before running the test. Record the review time, the errors and the cases that require a person to take over.
My optimism about AI rests on useful outcomes, not a perfect-looking demonstration. If the system helps staff complete a defined task with less effort and acceptable checks, that is a reason to continue. If it adds correction work, adjust the scope before expanding access. The owner should be able to explain where the benefit came from and what still needs oversight, using evidence from the business’s own work.
