Content and contributions
Respect the rights of authors, photographers and other creators. Link to an article when sharing it; obtain permission before reproducing material beyond uses permitted by law. Contributors must submit original or properly licensed work, disclose relevant interests, and provide sources for factual claims. Submission does not guarantee acceptance or publication.
Reader conduct and external services
Do not submit unlawful material, impersonate another person, send spam, or attempt to disrupt the site. External websites have their own terms and privacy practices. A link identifies a source or related resource and does not guarantee its accuracy, availability or suitability.
Privacy and reader information
The subscription form requests your name, email address, delivery preference and consent to editorial emails. The contributor form requests professional contact details, a photo, biography, expertise, proposed topics, writing samples, publication links and disclosures. Provide only information relevant to your request; do not submit client confidences, financial account numbers or sensitive case details.
AMS uses submitted information to handle subscriptions, assess contributions and respond to requests. Publication of an accepted contribution may include its approved byline, biography, professional image and disclosed interests. This site is hosted on WordPress.com; hosting and enabled site services may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details and cookies. To ask about your submitted information, request a correction or removal, or stop editorial emails, contact contact@allstatemerchants.com. Include the email address used for your subscription or application. Do not email passwords or identity documents. Some records may need to be retained for legal, security or operational reasons.
