List the places where customers encounter the policy: signs, receipts, booking messages, product pages and staff scripts. Choose a source of truth and identify the person responsible for updating each location. When a policy changes, review the related messages together instead of editing only the most visible page.
Give staff a short explanation and a clear escalation path for exceptions. They should not have to interpret an unfamiliar condition while a queue forms behind the customer. Keep earlier versions where needed to understand what a customer was told at the time. A consistency review is not a substitute for professional advice about legal requirements. It is an operational step that helps the business explain its terms accurately and avoid promises that conflict with its own written information.
